What a Cutie: Lavshuca Jewelry Lips

in -Kanebo, -Lavshuca, 2007 Spring, all about Japanese cosmetics, makeup, makeup - lip color, stash focus

(the oh-so-pretty Lavshuca Jewelry Lips)

(engraved with the Lavshuca logo)

Lavshuca‘s Spring 2007 collection tops my list for the season, and these cutest little lipsticks are part of the reason. Lavshuca’s Jewelry Lips (approx. 10 USD) are exquisitely packaged. They also happen to be much more petite than most other lipsticks. Below, see how it is compared with a Chanel lipstick:

(They are nicknamed “Lavshuca Mini Lipsticks”.)

(And It is 1.8g of lipstick,
less than most others.)

The two I have, PK-1 and RS-1, are both very wearable. PK-1 is a sheer pink and RS-1 is a pinkish-plum with a little bit of shimmer.

(from left: PK-1 and RS-1)

They are launched with 11 colors in February, and there will be another 11 colors to follow later on. So I assume they have been very popular!

How do we get a hold of this brand? I visited the website (and forgive me if this is obvious) but I can’t seem to find a way to order.

Hello Robyn,

Thanks for stopping by!

Most of the Japanese cosmetics websites don’t feature on-line purchases, unfortunately…

Lavshuca is currently available in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. There are a couple of on-line shops in Asia that carry Lavshuca, and so do several e-Bay sellers.

For me, I get my Lavshuca products from http://www.adambeauty.com (I was recommended this site by people on MakeupAlley). It is based in Hong Kong and it ships internationally (they use Paypal). They carry many popular Japanese cosmetics lines. The price under each product includes the shipping cost.

I’ve used this site several times and I am happy with the service and the cost.

(Lavshuca is made by Kanebo so it is under Kanebo on the homepage.)

It can take a bit of time if you don’t read Chinese, but there shouldn’t really be any problem. Let me know how you get on with it.

Happy browsing!

I recently purchased the PK-1 after reading your comments and I have to say I love it! They are so cute as well. I’ve been raving about it to everyone on MUA :)

I’m usually a lipgloss girl but not only are these so cute and pretty to look at it gives such a pretty colour to my lips and actually lasts pretty well. Very cream and not drying to the lips at all.

I’ve just recently purchased RS-1 from AdamBeauty and can’t wait for it to get here.

Hello Noaddedsugar,

Thank you for your comment!

It is great that you like PK-1. It is a really nice shade. RS-1 is just slightly darker and I hope you’ll like it too!

I have recently come across some reviews where people complain that they are quite drying. I personally don’t feel so and it seems that you are with me on this.

I am more of a lip gloss person as well, especially in the last few years. But these Jewelry Lips lipsticks looked so adorable that I had to try some, and I am glad I did!

Thank you very much for reading my blog!

Hi Yinyin,

Thank you very much for reading my blog!

I see. In my experiences, the seller usually marks the value of the package in a low amount (10 or 20 USD). So you are probably not going to be charged tax. (I have never placed a big order so my packages are usually fairly compact. I do wonder if the seller sometimes marks the value of a large package in a slightly higher amount. But I think, in most cases, you probably won’t be charged tax.)

Hope it helps. :)

Thank you very much for posting your comment and question. Hope to hear from you again soon! :)
