As packing for air travel is getting slightly trickier, many brands are coming up with ready-made solutions. Cake Beauty, specializing in hair and body products, has theirs.

Plane Friendly Travel Kit is ideal for a short weekend trip when you want to fit everything into the carry-on. It includes two bath/shower creams, two body lotions, and one hand lotion, specifically:

–Milk Made Velveteen Hand Cream
–Desserted Island Supremely Rich Bath and Shower Froth
–Desserted Island Supreme Body Mousse
–It’s a Slice Supremely Rich Bath and Shower Froth
–It’s a Slice Supreme Body Mousse
(All 66ml)
–Transparent toiletry bag (17cm x 12.5cm x 3cm, the paper fitting can be removed for total transparency)

Scent-wise:
Milk Made Velveteen Hand Cream: vanilla and milk
Desserted Island: vanilla and coconut
It’s a Slice: vanilla and orange

My favorites are the two bottles of Bath and Shower Froth. Drying shower products make my skin itch, and these certainly don’t. They both have a warm and comforting dessert-y smell. Also, the two body lotions leave the skin continuously moisturized, with long-lasting scents.

Apart from the Plane Friendly Travel Kit, Satin Sugar Hair & Body Refreshing Powder (50g) also joins the Cake Beauty line-up.

(Satin Sugar Hair & Body Refreshing Powder)

It is a talc-free (corn and silica based) powder with a vanilla scent. There are two versions: one for lighter and one for darker skin-tones (Refreshing Powder for Darker Hues).

The velvety powder is great for a quick freshen-up, especially in hot and humid weather. Used with a fluffy bronzing brush, the one for darker hues can also add a kiss of sun for lighter skin-tones.

They are actually quite handy when traveling as well!

It sounds perfect specially now that airports transits request for ppl to take recipients with less than 100ml and the total being less that 1L… imagine!

Im at the airport right now… going to visit my bfriend for the weekend, Im in Madrid and he is in Lisbon. And waiting for my delayed vueling I though of going through ur blog and got caught in this travel kit.

Im always having to request samples to take in flying trips, there should be more possibilities of buying less than 100ml products.
For example, body shop and kanebo (q products that I use) is always recipients bigger than 100ml.

anyway… they r calling.. I got to go now… with my samples friendly travel kit! :D

Love ur blog!
Cheers mate,
Bela

Hello Belaart,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts again!

Ah…the airport…I usually check in early to have a good look at all the goodies. I love the travel sets and some makeup palettes that are only available in airport duty-free shops.

Apart from in the airport, I think it is generally easier now to buy flight-friendly products. It is definitely something that many cosmetics companies are trying to work on…

I sometimes save the travel-size products from Gift with Purchases for traveling as well. Also, I keep several small empty bottles and jars so I can put my usual products in them when I pack for trips…

Have a great trip, Bela!!
