Neiman Marcus Beauty Event is now taking pace (on-line September 4-17 and in store September 7-16). As a Bulgari green tea fragrance lover, this candle instantly caught my attention among all the free gifts with purchases.

We over here in the UK don’t have events like this where brands have promotions at the same time in one store.

But it seems that people need to spend quite a lot of money to get some of the gifts…what do you think?

Hi PJ,

I went to the Neimans fall event & picked up some goodies. Yes, the GWP is at a high amount, but considering the cost of makeup, it’s not hard to get there. They have the fall & spring event around the same time every year, so us Neimans customers just wait to get our goodies until they have a GWP event, where we double dip by getting the Neimans & counter GWPs. Also, the GWP counter limit varies by brand, generally in accordance with their prices.

Hello Betsy!

Fantastic to hear from someone that has just been to the event!

Thank you for telling me more about it. I knew Neiman Marcus has beauty events regularly but I wasn’t aware that it is twice a year.

I like the idea that you can have a store GWP regardless of which brand(s) you buy from. We have nothing like this in the UK. We do have GWPs for various brands, but never at the same time in one store…

It is also nice that they happen at the same times around the year, so I guess you can plan ahead!

Thank you for leaving a comment!
