I have not been a Kate fan in the last few years. Will 2008 be the year for me to buy my first Kate item? I will keep you posted!

Hello Cassandra L,

I think, in theory, it has the potential to work really well. It is nice to have something like this to be able to better control how thin/thick the line is going to be.

I also think the key is the texture of the liner. I suspect it wouldn’t work as well as it can if it is too soft. We’ll see!

Thank you for leaving your comment again! :)

Hello 心。葵,

I think I agree with you on this one. The shades look good and very wearable but they don’t excite me very much. Mostly I want to see some lilac shades, which I currently love.

I have not bought from Kate actually. In terms of the budget lines from Kanebo, I am more of a Lavshuca person than Kate…:)

Thank you for commenting again! :)

Hello 心。葵,

I see. Golds are definitely good for the festive season! And I do love pinks as well.

As you might have noticed, I have bought some Lavshuca items this year, and I love almost all of them. If you get to try any Lavshuca item, do let me know what you think! :)

Hi PJ! Thanks for posting this up! My dad’s in Japan on a business trip now and I just got him to help me get Lavshuca’s Grade Color Select quads, but now, I am seriously considering emailing him to get some of the KATE ones too!!

And here’s where I need your help (since you are so much better than me at this). Do you have any idea what shades are the newly released Gradical Eyes Palette and Glam Trick palettes in?:):)

Hi Missky,

You are very welcome. Thank you for reading the post!

For spring 2008, Gradical Eyes S has a new gold-tone palette (GD-1) and Glam Trick Eyes has a new green-tone palette (GN-1).

You can go to Kate’s official website (nomorerules.net) and have a look. (Click on “Catalogue” and then “Eyes”.)

I hope you will like Lavshuca’s Grade Color Select palettes. I have not tried them, so do let me know what you think!

Thank you for posting your question on my blog. Hope to hear from you again! :)

What a novel and neat shape for an eyeliner.

Let me know if anyone tries this one!

Hi Jen,

One reader got to try this in Japan and told me that the liner didn’t seem to be able to draw a very thin line.

On the other hand, I’d think it should be able to be sharpened to suit our different preferences.

Hope it helps a little! :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog again! :)
