(Lavshuca Holiday 2007 Palette)

I just got my Lavshuca holiday 2007 palette a couple of days ago. The first thing I did was to take some photos so I could show you this cute palette.

I have not actually used it yet. (Unlike the DiorLight necklace that I also just got, I WILL be using this.) I will post a review after I have used the eyeshadows and the lip colors.

I was surprised to find that all the bits were outside the case when I received this. This is Lavshuca’s first eye-and-lip palette so they seem to be having a bit of fun with it. Also, since the case is not transparent, it makes sense to present everything like this so the customers in the drugstores can instantly see all the colors and the front of the case. Overall I like the whole presentation.

The case is made of cardboard but it is relatively sturdy.

(the case and the colors presented separately)

(Complete the puzzle!)

Obviously all the bits go into the case. But, I think perhaps some people will be quite happy just to leave them where they are so everything can be displayed as it is in the cute box. Umm…it is not a bad idea actually……

Hey PJ!

I did a quick review of this on my blog – Mmm it looks so pretty but it’s not up to usual Lavshuca standards. I really wish I had kept mine in the original box like you instead of putting them in because I doubt I will use the palette that much anyway.

Ho humm….

Hello RF,

Thank you for letting me know that you did a review on this. I see that you got both of them!

I see. I haven’t tried the colors yet so I don’t know how they are compared with my other Lavshuca items. But I will certainly look at the comparison when I do my review.

I am enjoying browsing your blog! If you are interested in talking about blogging in general (like what you were mentioning earlier), do please send me an e-mail (the e-mail icon is near the top of the blog). (I didn’t seem to see your e-mail address on your blog.)

In the meantime, thank you again for your comment! :)

I can’t wait to get mine :)

The post left me an orange slip on Saturday but I’ve been swamped and haven’t had a chance to go and collect them! PO is closed today sadly so have to wait for tomorrow!

Great pics and first impression PJ!

Hello The Muse,

I see. I was thinking that you must have received it since you ordered it before I did.

I am positive that it is waiting for you in the post office!

Hello Emma,

Good to hear from you again!

Well, I think you might receive your palette before I post my review later this month. But I’d love to know what you think, and hopefully you will like it.

Thank you for stopping by again! :)

I bought the gold version of this after seeing it in store and being won over (as if I needed to!) by the lovely assistants. I’ve been really surprised here at how much help and advice store staff give out!

I must say, the colours are gorgeous I’ve found and really suit my skin tone a lot more than I thought they would. I do believe that this palette has won me over to buying more Lavshuca items, especially since they are so readily available.

Hello Lindsey,

Thank you very much for reading my blog and leaving a comment!

I am glad you like the palette!

I assume you are in Japan. (Lavshuca is also available in a couple of other Asian countries.) What you said really brings back my happy memories of shopping for cosmetics in Japan. Apart from being quite generous with samples (which is always a plus), the assistants are usually so polite, kind, and helpful.

Hopefully you will find other Lavshuca items you enjoy using. For me, I have bought quite a few Lavshuca items this year and I enjoy using almost all of them. (Do have a look at some of their eyeshadow palettes. They are quite nice!)

Thank you very much again for visiting my blog. Hope to hear from you again soon! :)
