The MAC A-Mei Color Collection post has been updated with a link to an image featuring A-Mei wearing shades from the collection. The image was released to the Taiwanese press but I am not certain whether this would be one of the official promotional images.

I like those colors, on her. Sometimes I find MAC confusing; there are too many options that sell out too quickly (Antiquitease, anyone), and some of the cool palettes strike me as difficult to wear, whereas the warm seem more geared towards the mainstream.

I agree. I think she is pulling off the bold blue nicely. Not everyone can wear blue like that, but it is great to see someone that can.
I have to say I am not a regular MAC follower. There are indeed very many collections to keep track of. Sometimes they get a bit lost while I am staying updated with all my Japanese brands…
But once in a while they do come up with some eye-catching collections.
I think soft cool shades tend to suit me quite well actually, better than most warm shades, and I am interested in trying the eye palette with the bold blue…
