in -Stila, makeup, makeup - eyeshadow

Even though I am not really a Stila fan, I was still drawn into this beautiful collection of Stila eyeshadows. There is a wonderful variety of colors, but almost every shade is nicely wearable.

On the other hand, my lilac love continues and I’ve come across this very pretty and feminine Eyeshadow Quad in Montmartre:

I still don’t think I’ll be picking this up, but this is probably the closest I have ever got to purchasing a Stila item in the last couple of years…

PJ…

try stila…now!

(I wrote an as-usual-long comment but then my computer just decided to take a little break/crash)

Long matter short, I am currently in love with stila shadows(not anna sui type, this time it’s the product itself, well, the package is lovely too,I have to add), I got myself a trio (ravishing rose, it’s also in that girl’s mega collection) after buying the super soft/firm/just awesome stila #21 cheek brush. And I was equally happy with the shadow.

The color shows very well yet the texture is very thin and silky…and it’s definitly not that a-glob-of-pigment that kind of showing well, each shade has a very fine pearly sheen and no matter how light/sheer the color is, you will be able to tell the difference…

I am certainly buying more from stila…there are some very neat American brands out there…I think I will put more focus of these to save myself some shipping and handling fees…

Hi Mina,

I did receive your comment on the Anna Sui post (thank goodness), and I have replied to it. :)

Thank you for letting me know about your experience with Stila products. The finish does sound like something I would like, and I will also make sure I check out the cheek brush next time.

I myself have not yet bought their items before, but I do stop by the counter and test out their items if I have the chance. Once I nearly bought a lipstick but decided not to…

But I will certainly be on the lookout for any gem from Stila…:)

Thank you for your comment again! :)
