(E45 Endless Moisture
Light Caring Body Milk)

Since E45 products are not available in many countries outside the UK, most of my readers might not be familiar with this line. E45 is a major and reputable British drugstore skincare and bodycare line. Widely available here, the line mainly caters to people with sensitive skin or skin conditions like eczema.

The new Endless Moisture bodycare range includes the two products I am reviewing below. The range focuses on bringing long-lasting moisture to the skin. (Both products have fragrance-free and lightly-fragranced options. The ones reviewed below are fragrance-free.)

E45 Endless Moisture Light Caring Body Milk
(for normal to dry skin, seen above)

Free from silicone derivatives, this body lotion leaves an unexpected smooth and silky feel to the skin. With glycerin and paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil) as the main ingredients, this straightforward moisturizer (without an absurdly long ingredient list) should be relatively ideal for people with sensitive skin.

It has a very light and milky consistency, and it is easy to apply and absorbs well. The moisture does seem very long-lasting and the skin feels soft and supple throughout the day. My only issue is that I need something more emollient for drier areas like the heels.

(E45 Endless Moisture
Replenishing Care Body Cream)

– E45 Endless Moisture Replenishing Care Body Cream
(for dry to very dry skin)

This body cream has almost all the assets of the body milk reviewed above, but it has a much creamier consistency partly thanks to shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii butter) as the main emollient. The body cream also leaves a touch of healthy sheen to the skin.

It tackles my drier areas really well. When I use it as an all-over body cream, it does take a few minutes for everything to sink in. But it is worth the wait, as the skin is optimally moisturized.

I mainly use the Body Milk and resort to the Body Cream to care for drier areas. In the warmer months to come, I can probably just do with the Body Milk. Overall they both work very well to keep my skin properly moisturized and conditioned.

Hi there,

Even though the two E45 ones are very good, I would still rate Dove Body Silk above them.

The E45 Body Milk is closer to Dove in terms of how it absorbs and the feel of the skin after application (even though it is a lot more liquidy than Dove), but it doesn’t moisturize my dry heels as well as Dove.

As for the E45 Body Cream, it is more emollient than Dove. Even though it is not at all greasy, I don’t think I will need this level of emolliency in warmer months.

So, if I need to pick one out of the three to stick to, I think I would still pick Dove. It is the kind of body moisturizer that I can use all-year-round and on the whole body, even on the driest areas.

(By the way, I would rate the two E45 ones above the Neutrogena one I reviewed earlier, simply because the moisture lasts a little longer.)

Hope it helps! :)

Thank you very much for your question! :)

The E45 Body endless moisture cream is by the far the best product in totally curing my five year old’s dry itchy excema. Even the doctor is amazed. It has left his skin baby soft as it always should have been. No more constant itching and dry “crocodile” skin. He is happy and we, his dad and I are ecastic. I would recommend his to anyone with acute dry skin problems. PERFECT. Thank you E45!

Hi there,

I am glad that the E45 Endless Moisture Cream has been working for your son. It is indeed very moisturizing and that it is a well-formulated moisturizer in itself. It certainly takes care of my dry patches very well.

It is great that this is the answer to your son’s eczema!

Thank you very much for posting your comment! :)

Hi there,

That’s fantastic! 6.99 every week is quite a lot of money for a body cream, and it is great that you can save money while using a product that really works for your son!

Thank you very much for letting me know! :)

Hi there, THanks for the useful info. I wanted to share a similar story about the E45 endless moisture (we used the body milk version).

My daughter (also 5 years old) has had terrible eczema recently, her skin was like sand paper and her fingers were cracked and bleeding. She is very fussy about which creams to use as some hurt her so I tried this just because, well I have tried everything and spent a fortune.

What has happened with this E45 body milk is nothing short of a miracle. Two days on and her hands have healed, are soft and pink again, not red. Utterly incredible. Better than any potent steroid cream or anything else we have used, including normal E45 which has had little effect in the past. I wonder whether the glycerine has anything to do with it??

Hi,

Thank you very much for sharing your story. I am glad that it is working for your daughter.

I am pretty certain glycerine plays a part in it. But it is a very common ingredient in face/body moisturizers so I think other ingredients have a role as well.

Thank you again for your comment! :)
