In January, WWD reported on the Dutch designer duo Viktor & Rolf‘s collaboration with Shu Uemura and the release of three limited-edition pairs of false eyelashes.

This collaboration coincides with the 25th anniversary of Shu Uemura’s flagship Beauty Boutique on Omotesanto, Tokyo, where the false eyelash collection was unveiled.

According to WWD, the three pairs are called Wing, Wing 2, and Rhombus, and each pair will retail at 75 euros (about 119 USD at the current exchange rate).

So far I have not come across information on the launch date and availability. I will update this post later on with more information.

In Japan, the collection will be launched on June 19th and the booking will start on May 1st.

Wow! 75 Euros for false lashes. Some people must have too much money.

Hi Gauss,

They are indeed very pricey, but I am quite sure some people will find them very collectible. :)

Thank you very much for visiting my blog. Hope to hear from you again! :)

This looks like a really great, artistic collaboration. And very expensive, for sure~~ I´m not into expending that much right now, but I´m looking forward seeing the products.:3

Hi Eru,

I am completely with you. I will not consider buying these false eyelashes, but I would love to see them…if they are not sold out too quickly, that is…

Thank you for stopping by my blog again. Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)
