awwww…that’s so romantic (yup, romatic is the first word pop out of my mind when I saw this…)

ha, because of you, I think I really like lilac colored eyeshadow now, it’s one of the color that doesn’t look bad on my face (I can’t pull-off blue at all, pink and orange make me look beaten up black makes me look more sleep deprived, brown…it becomes part of my racoon eyes…*sighs*)

I am jealous of your photo-taking skill too (and your pretty handwriting!)

Oh yeah, I am getting my new camera soon, thanks to 2 gift cards from a church I used to go to, plus a sale on the website(it’s even 50 bucks cheaper than wal-mart) …now I am just looking for some nice backgound for the item(tablecloth maybe?)

Just a little notice, I might do some knock-off of your splash-of-color…but don’t worry it would be a joke compare to yours.

Mina

btw, the display name was citrine b/c I’ve been using that as my screen name forever when I was an more-than-active memeber in some random piano forums.

Hi Mina,

Thank you very much for enjoying this post, and thank you as well for your kind words about my photography and handwriting.

I figure that some people think that lilac is a very dated eyeshadow color, but, as we have seen this year, it has been quite popular. This year’s lilac eyeshadows are softly shimmery, not overly matte or powdery (which can look dated). Great that you enjoy wearing this color. I mostly certainly do as well. :)

I am glad you are getting a new camera. I hope that I will see more lovely photos on your blog! (I like the ones of Juicy Tubes…:)…)

Thank you very much for your comment again! :)

I love lilac shadow. When used well it brings out green eyes. All your Splash of Color photos are great. They would make nice computer backgrounds.

What a great blog, i love the colour of those eye shadows though I don’t think they will match my red hair.

I really like the blog, you have great take on the world of make-up. If you are looking for some profesional make-up advice I have just completed a course at Open Beauty Learn they do wonderful – Short Beauty Courses.

Hi there,

I see. I am wondering if a warm purple (or plum) would be a better shade for you. I think it might be more suitable than purples.

Thank you very much for sending me the link. I was not aware of the courses you brought up, and they look very interesting. I will definitely have a closer look at the website later on.

Thank you very much for your comment! :)
