I just came across images of Lancôme’s fall 2008 collection on a Japanese blog.

According to the writer, the theme of Lancôme’s fall 2008 makeup collection is The Beauty of India, which is reflected by the product designs. Do check out the link to enjoy the images.

Hi! I’m innerchild from MUA. I find myself coming here often for info on Japanese/Korean beauty products. It’s hard to find good, reliable info in English. Thanks for making this blog, it’s very helpful! Btw, the Lancome Fall India collection looks neat! Will it come out in the States by any chance?

Hi Dawn,

Thank you for your questions.

I used a Freshel deep cleansing face wash and a couple of skincare samples, and this was about several years ago. (I think the products were discontinued quite a while ago.) It was the period when I enjoyed trying out various skincare products, and I wasn’t planning on re-purchasing the cleanser.

As for Freeplus, I purchased them during trips to Asia.

But, currently, skincare-wise, I tend to use what is available here in the UK. (The last time I purchased a Freeplus product was about two years ago.)

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog again! :)

Hi Innerchild,

Thank you very much for reading my blog and for your kind words!

I am presuming that the items you see in the photos of the Lancôme Fall 2008 collection will be available internationally. It seems that the main limited-edition star items in Lancôme’s main seasonal collections are usually available globally, so I think you will be seeing them later this year. I look forward to seeing them in person as well!

Thank you very much for your comment. Hope to hear from you again soon! :)

Hi PJ,

Just saw the Lancome’s India collection. I love the lotus. But the elephant looks not very cute the way it should actually look. If Lancome was trying to ape the Indian elephant then its really different. I am from India and I guess Lancome could have done a better job on this one!

Hi Abha,

Thank you for telling me about your thoughts on Lancôme’s fall 2008 collection. The Lotus does look very nice. Purely on the designs, I would prefer it to the powder as well. But I’d still look forward to seeing the full collection in person. It seems to be quite a unique collection from Lancôme.

Thank you very much for your comment again. Have a good weekend! :)

Hi! I’m bendystraws a newcomer to your blog, I must say it’s quite amazing!

I think I’m going to have to live off bread and water this fall considering all my favorite brands (Dior, Anna Sui, Lancome, and Chanel) are coming out with such pretty limited editions and colours! I absolutely adore the lotus!

Hi Bendystraws,

Thank you very much for reading my blog.

Usually I buy more makeup items from spring releases, but some of the fall collections this years are looking very good indeed. There are definitely things I am saving up for. I’ll see what happens when I see some of these collections in person. :)

Thank you for posting your comment, and hope to hear from you again! :)

Hi!

I was wondering if the Lotus was a Asia-only item as it hasn’t appeared on any of the other blogs. In those, the star product seems to be just the elephant compact.

Hi Ebontien,

I have been wondering about this too, but I have seen the Lotus on this blog post:

So I wouldn’t think this item will be exclusive to Asia, but it might come out later in North America. We’ll see, and do let me know if you come across it in the shops.

Thank you very much for stopping by and posting your comment again! :)
