Dior Holiday 2008 Collection Update (1) – More Items and Images

The Night Diamond compact (Black Diamond Diamond Effect Powder, according to the site) is still looking good!

DR62 Wednesday, October 15, 2008: I’ve just tried the Dior Night Diamond Compact (Nordstrom.com) and though at first glance it appears to be just a subtle highlight, when I looked at myself in a magnifying mirror I saw glitter everywhere! I’m in my late 40’s, so this much bling doesn’t work for me, but if you like glittery powders, this one is very sheer and it helps to neutralize red skin tones. Although the compact is very sturdy, it does look a bit cheaper than it appears online, due to the giant fake crystals on top. For me, this is not worth $80 and I am returning it.

I am sorry that this powder is not working for you. But it is good that you can return it. (In the UK, we can’t return used skincare/makeup items.)

This powder compact is not out in the UK yet, and I am looking forward to seeing the powder and the packaging in person. I do hope I will like it.
