Here is a quick look at Chanel’s holiday 2009 makeup collection. The star item of the collection is Les Tissages Lamés, a gold-toned highlighter version of Les Tissages blushers.

Below is part of the rest of the collection. (The eyeshadow palette stands out for me, as warm green and light turquoise are relatively unusual shades for the holiday season.)

I thought it was unusual for the time of year but after speaking with Chanel trainers the idea is lightness in the winter when we all feel a bit gloomy…I have tried the shadows and are similar to an old favorite of mine canyons from years ago…..the collection is gorgeous and will sell right out

Hi,

I do think the shades in the eye palette are unusual in a good way. It is easy to come up with golds and silvers every year for the holiday season, and these colors are a welcome change.

Thank you very much for posting your thoughts! :)
