Here is a quick look at Chanel’s spring 2010 makeup collection. It strikes me as a very summery collection, with some warm brown and bronze shades. I have been loving neutral shades lately, but I think some of these colors are a little too intense for my preference.

The collection includes:

– Empreinte de Chanel (above, limited edition)

– Quadra Eye Shadow (1 new variation)

– Ombre D’Eau (1 new shade)

– Ombre Essentielle (3 new shades)

– Le Crayon Yeux (1 new shade)

– Rouge Allure (4 new shades)

– Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer (2 new shades)

– Le Crayon Lèvres (1 new shade)

– Joues Contraste (1 new shade)

– Soleil Tan de Chanel

– Poudre Universelle Compact

– Le Vernis (3 new shades)

ooh! love these colours, may get the bronzey/gold powder compact and a glossimer (or two). :D

it's also interesting how chanel seems to mismatch colour themes to seasons. like the current christmas collection has summery brights and in summer 09 their collection had deep, dark colours – that you'd expect in the holiday season, hehe!

I love that eye shadow quad! It looks like my true love "Planettes" discontinued one!

Hi Jojoba,

You are very welcome! The items that I am looking forward to are the two Glossimers and the pressed powder. The two Glossimers look nicely wearable to me. :)

Hi Delerith21,

I found a couple of photos of Planetes on-line, and Planetes does look similar to the new quad. :)

Thank you for your comment again! :)

Hi Nottyevil,

It does look nice, and it seems to be a soft bronzing shade. I think it should be quite wearable.

By the way, I enjoyed the Addiction preview on your blog. I hope you will enjoy using the items!

Thank you for posting your comment! :)
