Fendi Fan di Fendi Eau de Parfum 1

.

Even though Fendi released Fan di Fendi Eau de Parfum last year, it was officially launched in the UK this August. Created by François Demachy and Delphine Lebeau-Krowiak, Fan di Fendi aims to capture the fun and freedom of life.

Top notes: pear, blackcurrant, tangerine, pink peppercorn
Middle notes: damascena rose, yellow jasmine, Indian tuberose
Base notes: leather, patchouli

Fan di Fendi is essentially a fruity floral. The top fruity notes make a very swift entrance and the floral notes quickly take over. The drydown is surprisingly clean.

One of the words that best characterize the scent is warmth. There are many cool-toned fruity-floral fragrances but Fan di Fendi is not one of them. Even the fresh fruity top notes carry quite a bit of heat, and the warmth lasts through the core floral notes and is predominantly sustained by tuberose.

The scent is colorful, luxurious, youthful, and fun. It is like a glamorous and lively outdoor party in a warm summer evening. The vibrancy of the scent makes it a nice summer fragrance, and its warmth should go down well in autumn and winter as well. This is definitely more of an evening scent than a daytime scent.

The flacon is designed by Fabien Baron. I like how heavy it is. (The bottle featured in the photo above is the 50ml one.) The weight is partly down to the double-F metal hardware and the partially metal cap. The substantial bottle helps convey the feel of opulence and luxury.

One thing I have noticed is how transparent the dispenser tube is in the bottle, as the wall of the tube seems very thin and transparent. At some angles, the tube is barely visible. This adds to the cleanness and the sharpness of the flacon design.

Fan di Fendi Eau de Parfum is available in 30ml, 50ml, and 75ml. The range also includes Bath and Shower Gel, Body Lotion, and Deodorant Spray.

“Warmth” for the fall is a good thing. I am very impressed that the design worked every detail of the packaging and design, but what do you expect from Fendi? Thanks for the review

Hi Monique,

You are welcome! I am usually more drawn to cool-toned or neutral-toned fragrances, but the warmth in Fan di Fendi is definitely appealing to me.

Thank you for your comment! :)
