A Touch of Blusher Seventh Anniversary 2013 1(Enjoy!)

.

A Touch of Blusher is seven years old today!

My other half bought a star cake to celebrate the occasion, and I would like to dedicate it to all my readers. You are all my stars!

My life has been quite hectic in the last 12 months, and I have not been able to blog as much as I would like to. However, I am determined to carry on blogging to share the latest news in beauty and my thoughts on beauty items with all of you.

I would like to thank all of you for reading my blog and for commenting on my posts. It is your support that keeps me going!

Once again, let’s take a look back at the last 12 months of A Touch of Blusher:

.

November 2012: Another blue-tinted lip gloss from my collection.

December: My first item from Kate.

January 2013: SUQQU celebrates its 10th anniversary.

February: One of my latest purchases from Dior.

March: A blog post on food.

April: Maquillage was one of the first lines to reveal the holiday 2013 collection.

May: I finally got to try Lunasol’s iconic Beige Beige.

June: I rediscovered Kesalan Patharan.

July: Visée presented a brand new look.

August: Lavshuca’s Lav Hearty Eyes in PK-1 features cute packaging as well as my favorite color combination, pink and purple.

September: Stash Debut became a regular feature.

October: Another very eye-catching holiday makeup collection from Jill Stuart.

.

Thank you all very much once again, and do come back again soon!

Congratulations on 7 years of blogging PJ!

I love your blog and it has always been one of my favourites, I may have been a little bit quiet lately, but I’ve still been reading. You’ve been a great source for making Japanese makeup more accessible and understandable. I found one of my favourite foundations ever and without your excellent guides on how the Japanese shade system works, I would have made many mistakes matching.

Also one of your signatures, blue lip gloss, is a favourite of mine now. They are so few and far between but my little collection has recently grown with the addition of Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited in AT30S. I’ve also tried some Japanese eyeshadows and I finally understood what you meant about the different layers of shimmer. It is amazing!

Overall, I’ve found that Japanese makeup and application tends to suit me better and I love their foundation formulas. Really I just want to thank you for showing me a whole other side to makeup and hope to read your blog for a long while yet.

P.S. It seems a birthday wish was granted for your blog recently. Anna Sui makeup is now available on ASOS. Seems they’re only starting with the Minnie Mouse collection first, but it will grow to include more of the collection soon. Hope you enjoyed the cake!

Hi Leila,

Thank you very much! (I enjoyed the cake!) :)

One of the reasons that I started my blog was to share my passion for beauty and particularly for Japanese cosmetics. I am extremely pleased and grateful that I have been able to meet people like you in the blogsphere who share my passion.

I am certainly happy that you are able to find the foundation shade that is right for you. It can be very tricky! I am also happy that you understand what I mean by the layers and depths of shimmer, as they are not the easiest things to explain.

Thank you so much for letting me know that Anna Sui is now available at ASOS.com. I didn’t know that! This is such great news. Hopefully more and more items will be available soon!

Many thanks again for all your support! I will continue to share all the beauty news and my thoughts on the latest products with you! :)
