A Touch of Blusher Eighth Anniversary 2014 1(Salted caramel muffin……time to indulge!)

.

A Touch of Blusher is eight years old today!

I decided to make a few changes in my life around this time last year, and, since the beginning of this year, I have been able to spend a little more time writing for my blog. I hope you have been enjoying reading my posts!

With all the exciting collections from Japanese beauty brands that I want to highlight on my blog, I sometimes wish that I had more time to write about the items I purchased. I always think that news and reviews are equally important aspects of my blog, and I will try my best to balance the two.

I would like to thank all of you for reading my blog and for all your comments, e-mails and tweets. I am very grateful for your support!

Once again, following the tradition, let’s take a look back at the last 12 months of A Touch of Blusher:

.

November 2013: I reviewed items from SUQQU’s fall 2013 makeup collection.

December: Dark neutrals were a hot trend for fall/winter 2013.

January 2014: Lunasol celebrated its 15th anniversary.

February: I loved all the purples for spring 2014.

March: Les Merveilleuses de Ladurée further expanded in Asia.

April: A new look for Anna Sui.

May: My first fragrance purchase from Jill Stuart.

June: Aube Couture continued to make makeup application quick and easy.

July: Stella McCartney’s Stella was relaunched.

August: The Fleurs de Vent blusher from Dior’s Omotesando Collection is certainly among the prettiest blushers released this year.

September: I compared the three versions of Kanebo Milano Collection.

October: My first purchase from Canmake.

.

At the moment, I am working on two new posts to be added to my Beauty City Shopping Guide series. Do come back to find out which two cities I will be discussing!

Happy blog-birthday PJ!

Haha, can’t believe you only bought your first Canmake last October. (Anyway, I think I first tried their blush three years ago and I have just entered into the madness phase this year). They seems to be a great brand if you like many Japanese brands (they kind of copied from so many of them)….

Hi Mina,

Thank you very much! :)

Indeed, it really took me a long time to decide what to get from Canmake. (It was a similar story with Kanebo Kate.) I was tempted by many other items in the last few years, and, since I was (and still am) in my multi-colored-blusher phase, I thought I’d go for this one.

That might give you a hint on my other Canmake purchases. I hope you will enjoy the reviews! :)

Congratulations on your 8th anniversary! I’m thankful that your blog exists, and I’m always impressed by your dedication and detailed reviews. So thank you and hope you keep it up! You deserve many more salted caramel cupcakes!

PS: the selfish side of me hopes for an update on Tokyo shopping but I’m curious to know how other cities are like!

Hi Eri,

You are very welcome, and thank you very much for your congratulations and kind words! (I did actually have one and a half salted caramel muffins! My other half had the other half. :-D)

Yes, I suppose the Tokyo guide does need an update. (I can’t believe I posted it more than six years ago.) I will definitely work on it!
