3rd: Visée

When it comes to eyeshadows, purples and warm neutrals are the two color groups I go for the most, so it is great to see that the eye color items in Visée’s holiday 2014 makeup collection feature nothing but my favorite colors. Some of the Matte Nails shades are looking appealing as well, particularly PU100, a light lilac, and PK802, a lilac-toned pink.

2nd: Aube Couture

In recent years, Aube Couture has been releasing four Designing Jewel Compacts for the holiday season. (Each of the four palettes has two case options, so altogether there are eight options to choose from.) Usually there are a black case and a white case, and it is the same for holiday 2014. This year, I still prefer the black case, but the white case is looking very lovely as well.
1st: Paul & Joe

I think Paul & Joe has done well this year, and it finishes off the year with a beautiful Petite Etoile collection for the holiday season, which features base makeup, point makeup, bodycare and handcare items. They were difficult to resist, and I picked up a few of them (Makeup Collection 2014 in 001 Little Star, Pressed Powder T in 001 Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and Hand Cream R). It is certainly a collection full of tempting treats.

Visée definitely caught my attention this winter! Not just mine because every Visée display I found while I was in Japan recently was pretty much empty. That purple gel liner was very elusive (actually, the purple eyeshadow too).. I like to try non-black eyeliners, so it was high on my shopping list, and I almost gave up until I got lucky on my last day there. I’m happy to report it doesn’t disappoint! It’s a very sophisticated color. :) Happy Holidays!

I heard about the popularity of the collection, and I was hoping that you would be able to see and pick up some of the products. I am glad that you got the purple eyeliner! It is great to know that it is working well for you. The shade does look very elegant and sophisticated!
