Sofina‘s color makeup line, Aube, was revamped in December 2008 to become Aube Couture. I had a chance to see Aube Couture in person earlier this year and I was very impressed by the Designing Impression Eyes series, which was launched in fall 2011. I currently have four palettes from the series, and 553 Purple was the first one I purchased. It is my first ever item from Aube Couture, and therefore I am highlighting it in my Stash Debut 2012 series.

Today my Stash Debut 2012 series continues with Fasio’s Glass Reflection Eyes in BR-2.
Like Elsia, which I featured in Part 1 of the series, Fasio is a drugstore beauty line owned by Kosé. It currently carries base makeup, point makeup, and suncare items. The Glass Reflection Eyes series (5 variations, ¥1575) was released in Japan on July 16th 2011 as part of the line’s fall 2011 makeup collection, and I went for the gold-toned BR-2.

Happy New Year, everyone!
In my first post in 2012, I will be sharing my thoughts on Visée‘s Glam Glow Eyes in GR-4. The Glam Glow Eyes series (available in 5 variations) is from Visée’s fall 2011 makeup collection. I have previously reviewed BR-3.

Most of the time, the products from Lunasol‘s seasonal collections that attract most of my attention are the eyeshadow palettes. However, for fall 2011, I found the Three-Dimensional Eyes palettes a little too muted for my liking and I was much more drawn to the two limited-edition variations of Modeling Cheeks (EX01 Soft Pink and EX02 Soft Coral). Since I tend to prefer cool-toned blushers and I already have Lunasol’s Contrasting Cheeks in 03 Light Orange, which is a very warm-toned shade, I decided to pick up EX01 Soft Pink.

Over the years, one of the questions that I have been asked the most by my readers is “Have you tried B. B. creams?”
Personally, B. B. creams don’t fit in with my daily skincare/makeup routine. Currently, when I don’t wear makeup, my daytime routine ends with Olay’s Complete Care Daily Sensitive UV Fluid SPF 15. When I do want coverage, I wear ZA’s Two-Way Foundation on top of the Olay moisturizer. Generally, I prefer pigmented products for face, eyes, and cheeks to be powder-based. (Powder foundations suit my sebaceous skin a lot more, and I find powder eyeshadows (especially those from Japanese lines) and blushers a lot easier to work with. Also, I very rarely wear primers.) Therefore, I haven’t been tempted to purchase a B. B. cream.
However, today, I am taking you through the basics of B. B. creams and I will be reviewing Garnier‘s Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-in-One B. B. Cream.
