First of all, apologies for the delay in posting about this stash update.
I have to admit that, ever since the last Paul & Joe winter sale, I had been waiting for the next one. (Paul & Joe does have items on sale during the summer sale, but the lineup is usually not as impressive, and I didn’t purchase any sale item last summer.) There were a lot of items on sale for the winter sale 2011, and, for the first time (that I can remember), holiday limited-edition items were sold at reduced prices at Paul & Joe counters right on the other side of Christmas.

Again, Paul & Joe brings us a dazzling collection for the holiday season. The holiday 2011 collection includes items for face, eyes, lips, body, and nails. The five Ornamental Self Select Eye Colors and the five Nail Enamels feature matching colors. (Read my review of Ornamental Self Select Eye Colors in 001 & 004. )

Among RMK’s Christmas Palettes, the 2011 edition is certainly one of the better ones in terms of mix-and-match possibilities of the eyeshadows and blushers. For me, the highlights of the set are the blushers and the lip gloss. The collaboration with Kate Spade makes this limited-edition set extra special.

Chanel‘s limited-edition makeup collection for holiday 2011, Les Scintillances de Chanel, features items for eyes, lips, face, and nails, and the emphasis of the collection seems to be on lip colors, with new items from Rouge Allure, Rouge Allure Laque, Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss, and Lip Scintillantes. Today I am highlighting some of these new lip products.

Have a look at images of Dior’s spring 2012 Garden Party makeup collection at Iswii.com. (The article also features images of Lancôme’s spring 2012 makeup collection.) I love the new seasonal limited-edition item, which is a variation of Dior Minaudière from holiday 2010. I also like the color combinations of the two 5-Color Eyeshadow palettes. The rose motifs look lovely too.
(Brief thoughts on Dior’s holiday 2011 makeup collection: I was considering buying Dior Celebration Collection Eye Palette after seeing images of it, but I was not too impressed when I saw it in person a few weeks ago. The finishes of the packaging weren’t as good as I expected, and I decided not to buy it. I will save my Boots points for the spring collection.)

In the last few years, RMK brought out deluxe makeup palettes for the holiday seasons. (See the palettes for 2008, 2009, and 2010.) There is no exception for holiday 2011, and today I am taking you though RMK Christmas Palette 2011.

For the last few years, Paul & Joe has been releasing a wide range of items for the holiday season. For holiday 2011, there are makeup and bodycare products as well as a clutch bag. Among the collection are 5 Ornamental Self Select Eye Colors, each of which is packaged in a decorative box of a different design. Today I am highlighting 001 and 004.
