Last year, Paul & Joe celebrated its 10th anniversary. This year, it is SUQQU‘s turn. The brand will release its 10th anniversary Vintage Pearl makeup collection for spring 2013 in Japan on February 1st. The collection includes:

It was the sale time again, and I had to stop by the Paul & Joe counters in London to see what was on offer. (See my Paul & Joe sale purchases in 2010 and 2011.)
Paul & Joe’s sale items are usually past limited-edition items, discontinued (replaced) products, soon-to-be-discontinued products, and overstock. For this winter sale, many Lipstick N shades and Face Color variations were on sale, since the new lipstick lineup was released in fall 2012 and the new range of blushers (Cheek Color) will be launched soon as part of the brand’s spring 2013 makeup collection.

3rd: Aube Couture
Aube Couture’s holiday 2012 makeup collection includes four variations of Designing Jewel Compact, with colors for eyes and lips. Each of the four variations comes in two cases, so there are technically eight palettes to choose from. I like 01 Gold Brown Set and I prefer the design of the black case.

10th: Majolica Majorca
For me, the highlight of Majolica Majorca’ holiday 2012 makeup collection is the new Cream de Cheek. It features four lovely shades and adorable packaging. It is good that this is not a limited-edition product, and I look forward to testing it later on.

For holiday 2012, L’Occitane has released two limited-edition fragrance ranges, Fleurs Merveilleuses (Marvellous Flowers) and Feuilles Magiques (Magical Leaves). Today I am featuring Fleurs Merveilleuses Eau de Toilette.

Earlier I wrote about Paul & Joe‘s Pearl Foundation Primer in 001 Bonbon, which is from the brand’s holiday 2012 makeup collection (and spring/summer 2012 base makeup collection). The collection also features Makeup Collection 2012. It is available in two sets, 001 Frozen Lilac and 002 Sleigh Ride, and today I am highlighting 001 Frozen Lilac.

Chanel‘s holiday 2012 Éclats du Soir de Chanel makeup collection features gold and deep plum to add touches of festive glamour to the face. Today I am highlighting two items from this collection: Lèvres Scintillantes in 357 Mystery and Poudre Universelle Libre in 57 Rêverie.

I was disappointed with the lack of the limited-edition star item in Dior‘s holiday 2011 makeup collection, and I had been looking forward to seeing what Dior was going to bring out for this holiday season. Dior’s holiday 2012 Grand Bal makeup collection features warm-toned shades for the eyes and rich reds for the lips. (It is good to see new Diorific lipsticks and nail colors.) The star item is the Grand Bal palette, and I decided to get it with my Boots points.

After YSL released Gloss Pur in 11 Icy Effect in summer 2011, I didn’t think there would be another blue-tinted lip gloss from the brand anytime soon. However, YSL’s holiday 2012 Northern Lights makeup collection, with an unusual blue color theme for the festive season, features Golden Gloss in 55 Arctic Blue. (It is called Blue Iceberg in Japan and perhaps other countries.) Yes, I had to have it.
