SUQQU will release its fall 2009 collection in Japan on August 7th. The collection should be available in the UK around a month after the launch in Japan.
The new items include:
– Blend Eyeshadow (3 new variations)
– Dual Contour Shadow (2 variations)

– Dual Gloss Color (2 variations)

– Lip Color Pencil (5 shades)

– Polish Face Color (1 variation)

In 2008, SUQQU released three limited-edition Gloss & Lip Colors for both spring and fall. This year, the new Dual Gloss Color supposedly contains two lip glosses.
All the items in SUQQU’s fall 2009 collection are limited editions.

Est will release its fall 2009 collection in Japan on July 25th. The new items include:
– Emotional Multiple Eyes (4 new variations)
– Eyelash Shade (cream eyeliner, 4 shades, including 2 limited editions)

– Advanced Lips (4 new shades)

Update on June 23rd 2009:
Here is a quick look at all the items in the collection. I would love to see more images of the purple palette soon…

Est’s overarching makeup concept is Emotional Beauty, and many of Est’s seasonal makeup ad campaigns are based on one particular emotion. What is very unique (and quite refreshing) is the brand’s exploration of negative emotions. After sorrow and depair, Est is tackling anger in fall 2009. Concept-wise, this is going to be a memorable collection.

In my reviews of skincare products, I try to share what I know about the various ingredients. There are quite a few other blogs that pay considerable attention to skincare ingredients, and NvWah Blogs is one of them.
The recently launched blog features reviews of skincare products and is part of a larger skincare review database, where positive and negative sides of products are pointed out and where readers can see full ingredient lists of products reviewed.
I will certainly be following the blog’s latest posts and I hope the database will be growing steadily.

For summer 2009, Barry M has released four new shades of Lip Paint, and today I am featuring 144 Cerise Pink and 147 Peachy Pink.
Cerise Pink is a deep magenta and Peachy Pink is, as the name suggests, a pale coral peachy pink. Cerise Pink has a satiny finish while Peachy Pink has an almost-matte look. Both shades are very pigmented and create a rich and intense look.
Both last well and have a decent amount of moisture. I find that deep magentas like Cerise Pink and very vibrant cool pinks generally last well and I usually need to take extra care to make sure that I remove them thoroughly. (I find that many of them do have pigments that tend to stain the lips a little.)

Peachy Pink goes on quite pale and has more of an edgy and editorial look than an everyday look. (It is pale even among nude-toned lipsticks.) To wear a shade that is both matte and pale like Peachy Pink (which is considerably paler than many people’s natural lip color), make sure your lips are optimally moisturized so it doesn’t settle in lip lines and look patchy on dry lips.
These two shades give lips a strong look in different ways. Between the two, I think Cerise Pink suits more skin tones and is slightly more wearable, while Peachy Pink is quite a unique shade within lipsticks in the same price range.
(Note that both shades look slightly darker and warmer on Barry M’s website.)

If Lancôme’s fall 2009 collection is a song, it is a powerful anthem.
Created by Aaron De Mey, Lancôme’s Makeup Artistic Director, the Declaring Indigo collection is inspired by the colors of the Parisian coat of arms, the French Revolution and the spirit of freedom and impertinence. Striking primary hues saturate the collection as it features rich royal blues for eyes (seen above in Palette Liberté in Bleu Royauté) and velvety matte reds for lips.
The subtext of irreverence seems to continue from De Mey’s spring 2009 Pink Irreverence collection, but this time the colors carry a regal as well as a vintage feel.
I had a chance to preview the collection today, and here are some of the items from the collection:

The collection will be launched in the UK on September 1st.
I will be reviewing the items in more detail in the coming weeks. Do stay tuned!

The limited-edition kit, retailing for £68, includes a green-toned Blend Eyeshadow EX-02, Mascara Volume Long N EX-01 Green, Eye Make Up Remover (50ml), Eye Cream (4g), Screw Brush, and an original bag. (The eye palette, mascara and screw brush are available only in this kit.)

– RMK‘s makeup collection renewal items will also be available in Selfridges tomorrow. The Ingenious Power/Jelly Eyes retail for £16 and the Ingenious Powder/Jelly Cheeks retail for £19.50. I swatched a few colors and was quite pleased with the texture of the powder. I particularly liked SH-07 Shiny Purple, which has beautifully dimensional shimmer.

– I stopped by the Chanel counter in Harvey Nichols and one SA confirmed that the Chanel Studio (which used to carry items only available in Asia and North America) had left Harvey Nichols and would be moving to Selfridges. There was no sight of the Tokyo Happening collection in either counter. Instead, the London Madness collection is available.
