Today, in my Bring It Back series, I will be reminiscing about Lavshuca. Before I talk about the line’s changes through the years since its launch in spring 2006, I will share my thoughts on Moist Melting Bar in RS-2, one of my last purchases from the line.

Lavshuca’s fall 2013 makeup collection features red cases for the products. This is a new look for the line, but I still prefer the original (pre-fall-2012) packaging. I like some of the variations of Melty Heart Eyes and the gradational look of Melty Trick Cheeks in this collection.

In fall 2012, Kanebo’s Lavshuca started a major revamp. The new look is whimsical and there are some interesting product designs. Even though I still prefer Lavshuca’s previous style of packaging (which is more elegant), I did like the look of the limited-edition Lav Hearty Eyes palettes (¥1680 each) from the fall 2012 makeup collection and I decided to go for PK-1.

3rd: Kesalan Patharan

Kesalan Patharan seems to be going through a packaging revamp, and its summer 2013 makeup collection, with eight variations of Cheek Color, really caught my attention. I like many of the color variations as well as the gold cases. The collection also features a Cheek Brush, but the double-ended brush in the compact should be fairly useful.
