Inoui ID is my other favorite line. Sad that it’s gone, but I look forward to interesting things with Dick Page in his new position as artistic director at Shiseido.

Hello Kuri,

Thank you for your comment! (I see that you live in Japan!) So, one vote for Inoui ID then.

I like Inoui ID as well. I still regret not picking up some of their items when I was in Japan. I am actually planning to write about it in my “Bring It Back” series, even though I know that it will never do!

Hello Jessica,

Thank you for stopping by!!

Another great brand. A wide range of products with a slight professional edge. Their packaging is growing on me as well.

My favourite Japanese brands are (in order) Jill Stuart, T’estimo, Lavshuca, majolica Majorca.

BTW Have you seen the T’estime Grande Shine eyes? These are gorgeous and better than the frame impact eyes in my opinion.

:-)

Hello there,

Currently, my top two are Jill Stuart and Lavshuca. So we do have similar tastes!!

I know the T’Estimo Grande Shine Eyes. It is quite interesting, because I have been reading mixed reviews regarding how they are compared with Frame Impact Eyes. Some prefer Grande Shine some prefer Frame Impact…

I haven’t had a chance to test the Grande Shine, though. But I’d imagine they should be quite nice as well.

Hi 心。葵,

Canmake is certainly a very popular Japanese cosmetics brand as well. I have heard good things particularly about their base makeup items.

By the way, the link to your Blogger profile doesn’t seem to work at the moment. When you post your review of the Canmake items, do please send me the link to it via e-mail. (Please find my e-mail address towards the top of my blog.)

Thank you again for leaving your comment! :)

Hi I’m New I’ve been reading your post just recently and you have like the best knowledge on Japanese cosmetics I have seen so far…^^
Anyways My favorite line is SHISEIDO’s MAQUILLAGE and KANEBO’s COFFRET D’OR because I’m a eyeshadow person and I love the luminous shine they give to your eyes.^^

Hi Tina,

Thank you very much for reading my blog and for your very kind words!

Maquillage and Coffret D’Or have been really growing on me, particularly Coffret D’Or. I also love their eyeshadows. I love the colors, the finish, the wearability, and the staying power. I will definitely look forward to more from them.

Thank you for your comment, and hope to hear from you again. :)
