Paul & Joe has updated its (English) website with full information on its holiday 2008 collection. Paul & Joe fans will be delighted to know that this is not a half-hearted collection, as there are a lot of goodies and collectibles! (I can’t believe it is coming close to a year since I bought the Lip Gloss N from Paul & Joe’s holiday 2007 collection.)

The collection includes:

Body Fragrance Collection (two sets, limited editions, with Fragrance Body Powder, Solid Fragrance, Fragrance Body Cream, and Original Drawstring Bag)

Eye Makeup Collection “Neige
Eye Gloss N (5 shades)
Pearl Powder (5 shades)
Pencil Eye Liner (4 shades)

Face Color & Lipstick Kit (two sets, limited edition, with Face Color M, Lipstick G and Original Pouch)

The Red Velvet Collection (Lipstick L, limited edition, three shades)

Cosmetic Pouch II and Body Treatment Oil

The Paul & Joe English site has swatches of all the colors available, so I shall leave you to explore the site!

According to Cosme.Net, the collection will be launched in Japan on November 7th. On the other hand, the Paul & Joe English site seems to suggest that it is out on October 1st (in some countries at least). I will certainly keep a close eye on the collection when I stop by the Paul & Joe counter next time.

I am super excited about this collection!

I phoned Bergdorf Goodman in NYC today (after seeing the updated P&J website) and was informed that they would have the collection in by next week – except for the 2 fragrance sets, which will arrive in Nov., and the pouch with lipstick and facecolour, which won't arrive until spring.

I hope this info helps some other P&J fans out there. I don't live in NYC, but I have ordered by phone and had items delivered to me – it's a great way to get P&J stuff if you live in the US.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing the information! It is very useful. I can tell that you are a Paul & Joe fan. :)

I am guessing that some of these items are either in the UK Paul & Joe counters now or will be there very soon. I think I might make a call and try to be sure about this before I visit the counter.

I am very excited about this collection too!

Thank you again for posting your comment and the information! :)

How funny is it that I just went to Bergdorf last night to check out the Christmas collectioin and here you are posting it. I didn't see any images before I went, but god if I had seen your post, I'd be running to the counter!

I tested the new Eye Gloss N, all of the shades are very pretty and the SA told me they were reformulated, I don't own any from the previous formula, so I can't compare. But the first 2 colors (gold, silver) are very sparkly, a little glittery, like most P&J e/s. the last 3 (pink, puple, brown) are very wearable and gives a subtle and wet look. I tried on the purple and brown on my eyes, and I love the result, especially the brown, it's like a taupe with an oomph, not over powering, but gives the eyes a definition, the shine and elegence is just to die for.
The eye liners, I tried it in the purple color to go with the Eye Gloss, eh, they were ok. Nothing to write home about. I'd skip it.
The Loose Eye Powder, they are like MAC pigments toned down, grown up and lady like. Very fine, wet to the touch, and gives a very fine sheen. I didn't test any on my eyes b/c I know I won't use it like the 5 MAC pigment still remain unopenned at home. But they do look very nice.
The fregance set wasn't in it and it's not their old line up of the 2 perfumes, but they look so yummy!
They are also doing a GWP this weekend with purchase over $75 receive a makeup tray in the print of black and pink from the fall collection. later in the year, the gift would be a tote in the same print.
she didn't mention anything about the lipstick and face color set, so i guess it won't be next spring that they release it here.

anyways, hope this helps the P&J fans out there. ciao~

Hi CuttiBeBe,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us!

The Eye Gloss N is the product I am looking forward to trying out the most. I have tested the exiting Eye Gloss and I nearly bought one. It would be interesting to see how the reformulated range is different. The purple and brown ones sound promising!

I have actually been somewhat interested in having a purple pencil eye liner, so I am looking forward to the one from this collection as well.

I was thinking that the two fragrance sets are probably not related to the two existing fragrances. Thank you for clarifying that for us.

Thank you very much again for posting your thoughts again! :)
