Dior will launch a beautiful (purple-toned!) collection for holiday 2009. (The color scheme seems to be a continuation from the fall 2009 collection.) The star item of the season is Cristal Boreale, which is a pendant containing a lip gloss and is embellished with 52 Swarovski crystals. Since Lady Dior in Spring, I haven’t picked up any item from Dior. But it is almost certain that I am going to use my Boots points on Cristal Boreale.
Also, I have never come across the gorgeous Lilas Addict collection in person in the UK, but the lovely purple 5-Color Iridescent Eyeshadow and Cristal Boreale Eyeshadow (above) should make up for it.

I'm very tempted to pick up that holiday kit but the eye shadows that come with it are a little on the ordinary side. The mini tube of iconic and gloss are what's pulling my heartstrings ^^; From some strange reason I love their mini tubes of stuff ^^

Hello PJ. It is great to catch up with your posts again. Thanks for all the great reviews. I love the look of the Cristal Boreale and the lilac eyeshadows too. I have not bought any Dior items since Lady Dior and spring eyeshadow palette either. I have seen the fall and holiday collection but am less tempted by the shades though the textures are nice. I wonder what the price for the Cristal Boreale will be. I hope it is less than Lady Dior or I will not be able to get it. I have had to spend a lot on study books this autumn. It is wonderful to be able to visit you again. Take care love Chloe xx

I have a mini-sized Dior Addict High Shine (the Dior SA that I usually buy from gave it to me with my purchase) and I love it too. It has gone into my permanent collection. :)
I think, usually, the eyeshadows in palettes like this tend to be wearable enough to suit most people, so they don't tend to be overly exciting. But maybe their texture and finish might still appeal to you. Do let me know what you think of the palette if you have a chance to see it in person.

Yes, I certainly like these items. I think I will definitely get the Cristal Boreale pendant and I will definitely consider getting the eyeshadow palette and the eyeshadow single as well.

This collection is very appealing to me too. It is great to see lilac shades in a holiday collection, and it seems that they are in the right tone for my complexion.
Do keep me posted on your thoughts when you have a chance to see the items in person, and I certainly hope you will be able to get the Cristal Boreale pendant if you decide to have it!

I so want to buy that pendant! I never buy limited edition things or spurluge in the that way but the pendant is too gorgeous! I hope it's not sold out when I go to buy it. Do you know when it's coming out in the UK? Is it coming out here? I've been building up on my Boots points for a while to invest in something. Maybe this will be it!

I have seen a leaflet of Dior's holiday collection and the Cristal Boreale pendant is certainly going to be launched in the UK. (The leaflet doesn't list prices or release dates.) Hope you will have enough Boots points for it! :)

I've just got the liquid liner and the 5 colors eyeshadow palette. I simply love them.The liquid liner is such a great color.
