The whole collection looks so pretty! I have noticed that Jill Stuart is a very pink brand, but I like that. You don’t really get bronze or very bright colours often. I have yet to own anything from them though, do you have any recommendations for starting out?

On another note, I normally don’t like seeing western models for Asian beauty campaigns (I want to see something different you know?) but Lindsay Wixson with her sweet, doll-like, baby face really does fit the aesthetic of Jill Stuart, don’t you think?

Hi Leila,

I think items like Mix Blush Compact, Jelly Eye Color N (if you like non-power eyeshadows) and the eyeshadow palettes (Jewel Crystal Eyes and Illuminance Eyes) might be good items for you to try if you haven’t tried products from Jill Stuart.

(They are some of the most popular items from the brand. Also, I personally really like my Mix Blush Compact in 01 Baby Blush (http://www.atouchofblusher.com/2009/02/jill-stuart-mix-blush-compact-in-01-baby-blush.html).)

I am with you on western models for beauty ad campaigns in Asia, but I do agree that Lindsey Wixson is a good choice for Jill Stuart Beauty. (You might have also noticed that a new model has been chosen for the fall 2011 ad campaign.)

Thank you very much for your comment again! :)

Do I see a non-pink Mix Blush Compact? It looks purple/plummy!

Hi Lisa,

It does! I have seen another photo of it where it looks more pinkish, but I think the actual shades will probably look like the ones you see in the blog post that I link to.

Thank you for stopping by again! :)

Thank you for sharing this with us. I love this collection. The mix blush compact color variation look rather different than their usual tones.

Hi Lisa,

You are very welcome! :)

Yes, I definitely think the new Mix Blush Compact looks more muted and understated than most of the previous variations. I think it looks quite nice!

Thank you for posting your comment again! :)
