It is supported by Odiogo. After I listened to some posts on Elke Von Freudenberg’s blog, I was happy with the general quality and decided to bring podcast to my blog.
The near-human text-to-speech generation is by no means perfect, but I have to say it is pretty good. (It is also kind of fun to hear my own writing being read out…)

I only wish that the voice was a female voice! It’s kinda funny to hear a male voice talk about applying mascara or something. Too funny.

I found something similar.. ( talkr.com ) .. I think they have female voice :)

Thanks for mentioning it. I went to the Talkr website and checked out some blogs that feature Talkr. The voice quality is also pretty good, but I prefer Odiogo’s interface design and I think Odiogo’s voice is (marginally) more engaging.
I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either. Let me know how you get on!
Hi PJ, I integrate Talkr in my blog and I think it’s great.. :) The only thing is it open on new window and doesn’t work on older posts. I registered Odiogo as well.. Would be playing between these two thingy for a while .. :)
