Even though my blog is mostly about beauty, I do love fashion just as much.

I have been looking through various spring & summer 2008 ready-to-wear collections in the last few weeks, and one of the collections that I really like is Zac Posen’s.

It is a well-balanced collection with various elements. With wearable and editorial pieces, Zac Posen has created clean lines, feminine frills, timeless neutrals and bold shades. I especially love the gowns toward the end of the runway show (01:35 on the clip above).

Some of my other favorite pieces (the more colorful ones) are not shown in the video clip. You can see the entire runway show here and see the beautiful stills on the Vogue UK website.

my god we should be twins!

I was watching this while having a quick lunch this afternoon!

I agree the entire line is fem to the max and elegant with all the frills and classic lines!

Some of it has a slight boho edge to it and some is just refined elegance!

It’s quite a mix of styles and I’m just adoring it!

The only thing I disagree with is the gowns. They were a bit prom queen gone mad for me. But aside from that I loved everything else!

I particularly liked the smart camel colored suit that was presented. It had a boycut and was feminine yet had an edge too it!

Sorry I’m blubbering aren’t I?

I just really dug this collection too hehe!

night night i love ya!

Hello A-Mused,

Great to know that you like most of the collection as well!

There are a couple of gowns that I don’t particularly like, but I do like most of them and I think they are the highlight of the collection. But it would not be a great collection were it not for the other very tailored pieces to bring touches of balance.

So, overall I think this collection has great merits from many aspects. I definitely look forward to more of his creations.

Thanks for commenting! :)
