Hi PJ!

I want sephora back too.. i didnt really get to shop there, only saw one back in kingston where i used to study then it closed down =S al that time i was window shopping xD regret not buying anything there!

I dont really like using puffs cos they dont distribute powder on face properly =/ so i prefer just using my face powder brush or my kabuki brush. But that paul & joe packaging looking really nice!

oh yeah, my EM package arrived last thurs, i had a chance to try it out last few days. i think they’re much better than the english mineral makeup brand i tried! although i got slightly oily on my nose sincce i have combo skin but it stayed put mostly. Also, i managed to find the right colour, so i guess that helped!! im thinking of trying the complete matte foundation instead of the semi-matte but we shall see =)

lol, sorry to waffle on!

Hi Nicola,

Thank you very much for telling me about your thoughts on Everyday Minerals.

Indeed, getting the right foundation shade does help a lot. For me, if I am testing out a foundation which turns out that its texture doesn’t suit me and which is a shade lighter than my complexion, sometimes it can go noticeably cakey after a few hours…

Using a powder brush to apply loose powder is probably the best way, but, for me, using a puff with short and dense hair can really give me a finished look with pores looking much less visible. Gradually I managed to find ways to use the powder puffs effectively…

I do hope Sephora will come back. Like you, I didn’t pick up anything when there were Sephora stores in the UK, so I am really hoping that the re-launch will happen…

Thank you for commenting again! :)
