Kanebo’s Lavshuca will release its fall 2009 collection in Japan on August 1st. The new eye palette series, Light Mix Eyes, looks quite adorable. The brand continues its focus on lip makeup by releasing Full Balloon Rouge, which features “clear concealing pearl” to tackle lips’ dullness and vertical lines.

The lineup includes:

– Light Mix Eyes (5 variations)
– Grade Color Eyes (1 new variation)
– Dual Prism Eyes (2 new variations)
– Power Memory Eyebrow (2 shades)
– Power Memory Eyeliner (1 shade)
– Full Balloon Rouge (15 shades)
– Rouge Star Classics (2 new shades)

One new base makeup item, Pore Concealer Base, will be released on the same day.

Wow i love the look of the eye palettes. I've heard a lot about this brand but never tried it myself. Are the colors very pigmented?

Hi Purple Strawberry,

I do like the packaging of Light Mix Eyes. It certainly looks more ornate than the Grade Color Eyes from spring 2009.

Thank you for posting your comment! :)

Hi Lovely_Moo,

I quite like the look of this new palette series as well. :)

I haven't tried a lot of Lavshuca's eyeshadows, but I would describe mine as moderately pigmented. They are not very sheer but they are not heavily intense either. Generally, they are what we can expect from most Japanese beauty brands (nice and easy-to-work-with pigmentation level with good blendability).

Hope it helps a little, and thank you for posting your comment! :)

Hi Fang-Wei,

You are very welcome! :)

I do agree with you that Majolica
Majorca really has to work harder. I am aware of the fact that Majolica Majorca's and Lavshuca's target age groups are slightly different, but I do think MJ needs to try different things with its product packaging to stay fresh and interesting.

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts! :)

Are you planning to get any? I kind of wish the colours looked brighter and more exciting. It seems Kanebo isn't putting much effort into Lavshuca anymore but more into Kate…

Hi ' * : . b | u 3 . : * ',

At the moment I don't think I will get any eye palette from this collection, but I am looking forward to seeing more photos of the palettes later.

Very often, the colors of the product photos on the main Kanebo website can be a little muted. I expect the actual colors to be a little bit more vibrant. We'll see! :)

Thank you very much for posting your comment again! :)
