That palette is totally my kind of shade (will definitely buy it and maybe skipping on the est anniversary altogether because I still don’t know what the other shade is beside a pink combo)…

Btw, I just dipped in Lavender Coral this weekend and I love the dreamy/fresh effect it gives (and oh that crazy fall out…But the effect is worth it). Now I want to hunt down all the purple palettes you raved about…

Hi Mina,

I hope you will like this palette! It reminds me of 4D Eye Palette in 04 from spring 2011. It has a very beautiful purple (with a nice depth and a very dimensional finish) but unfortunately the other three shades don’t appeal to me as much. (As far as I remember, the purple in 4D Eye Palette in 05 (from spring 2012) is lighter. I prefer the one in 04.) I think 04 has been discontinued in Japan, and I hope the purple in this palette turns out to be a lovely color and that THREE will release a permanent purple-toned 4D Plus Eye Palette later on.

Thank you so much for letting me know about your thoughts on Lavender Coral! I am so pleased that you like it! :) I certainly agree with you that the palette creates a very fresh look. For me, applying the colors light-handedly (as I mentioned in my post) does create that fresh effect.

Many of the purple-toned eyeshadow palettes I have written about are no longer available. (As you know, many Japanese beauty products are renewed regularly.) One of my recent favorites is Integrate’s Pure Big Eyes in VI221. Its purple shade is very pretty. I also quite like Aube Couture’s Designing Impression Eyes in 553 Purple, but do bear in mind that this palette doesn’t have a medium-depth purple like the one in Lavender Coral. Both of these palettes should still be available.

Thank you very much for posting your comment again! :)
