Dior’s holiday 2012 Grand Bal makeup collection features chic gold-toned neutrals for the eyes and seductive reds for the lips and nails. The Grand Bal palette, in a sleek gold case, also includes a gold-toned eyeshadow, and I like the look of the Diorific items in the gold packaging as well. The collection has a glamorous and opulent feel.

10th: Majolica Majorca

For me, the highlight of Majolica Majorca’s holiday 2012 makeup collection is the new Cream de Cheek. It features four lovely shades and adorable packaging. It is good that this is not a limited-edition product, and I look forward to testing it later on.

Earlier I wrote about Paul & Joe‘s Pearl Foundation Primer in 001 Bonbon, which is from the brand’s holiday 2012 makeup collection (and spring/summer 2012 base makeup collection). The collection also features Makeup Collection 2012. It is available in two sets, 001 Frozen Lilac and 002 Sleigh Ride, and today I am highlighting 001 Frozen Lilac.

This year, Kosé’s Elsia is one of the Japanese makeup lines that really caught my attention. Earlier I posted about the line’s Luxe Shine Eye Color in E-5, which started my Stash Debut 2012 series. The Melty-on Eye Color range was lunched in spring 2012 and includes eight variations (¥945 each), and today I am sharing my thoughts on GD-1, my second purchase from Elsia.
