Jill Stuart, in its 10th year, seems to be going through a renewal. So far in 2015, there has been at least one new product for every season (Ribbon Couture Eyes for spring, Forever Juicy Oil Rouge and Stay True Gel Eyeliner for summer and Rouge My Dress for fall). There are also new foundations (Everlasting Silk Powder Foundation Flawless Perfection for spring/summer and Rich Moisture Silk Powder Foundation for fall/winter). Moreover, from mid-August, Jill Stuart counters in Japan will have a new look.
Earlier this year, I decided to go for Ribbon Couture Eyes in 04 Gemmy Cashmere, which is the second eyeshadow palette I got from the brand (after Brilliance Eyes in 04 Gem Amethyst back in 2007).

I am sure devoted fans of SUQQU have noticed that the brand’s makeup range has been changing over the last couple of years. The colors and tones are more varied as there are more non-neutral eyeshadow shades and more vibrant lip colors. The brand’s spring 2015 makeup collection is fresh and colorful. The three new variations of Blend Color Eyeshadow combine soft spring-like hues with neutral shades, which have always been the brand’s speciality. However, I am more drawn to the blushers and lipsticks in the collection. I picked up Balancing Cheeks N in 04 Mizuhanamoya and Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist in EX-16 Momobara and I will be reviewing them later. (Update: read the two reviews here and here.)

Back in 2008, I posted about the cute nail and cuticle oils I had. As I said, they are not absolute necessities for me and I don’t use them on a daily basis. However, I did get two more in the last couple of years. (Yes, I still like the cute-looking ones……)

One of the star items of Jill Stuart‘s launch lineup in 2005 was Blush Powder. It was a loose powder blusher in a very pretty container. I was tempted to get it, but then I got the 2005 Christmas Collection set, which included a highlighting powder in the same container (left in the photo). Then, in fall 2010, Blush Blossom was released. It was Jill Stuart’s new loose powder blusher, which, in a way, replaced Blush Powder. I decided to try 01 Romantic Sweet Pea.
