Earlier this year, Olay‘s Wrinkle Relaxing Complex, from the brand’s Regenerist range, was renamed 10 Minute Miracle. Today marks the third anniversary of the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake. To support Fukushima Sakura Project (Fukushima is one of the six prefectures in the Tohoku region), Kosé is running a campaign from February 16th to April 30th with limited-edition products from the Esprique line.

In the last few years, Kao Sofina Primavista has been releasing two limited-edition powder foundation cases each year, one for spring/summer and one for fall/winter. These cases generally don’t catch my attention as much as those from Raycious (Sofina’s previous base makeup range), but the upcoming Limited Compact Case (¥1050) for spring/summer 2014 stands out for me. Shades of pink are joined by fresh aqua blue and lime yellow, and the case looks colorful and cheerful.

Releases like this do make me think that time flies. It doesn’t seem that long ago when Lunasol celebrated its 10th anniversary, and the celebratory collection at the time featured a makeup palette with the brand’s best-selling eyeshadow palette, Skin Modeling Eyes in 01 Beige Beige. In 2014, the brand reaches another milestone and will release its 15th anniversary makeup collection in Japan on February 11th. The collection includes:
