It seems that whitening ranges continue to be big businesses in Asia, and the springtime is when most of the whitening ranges from both Asian and western beauty brands (which develop whitening ranges exclusively for the Asian market) bring out new products. From daily skincare items to treatment products and from ultra-high SPF sunscreens to full base-makeup routines (from primer to loose powder), whitening ranges have been getting more and more extensive.

Founded in the UK in 1995, Liz Earle has been a well-established skincare brand for years. Many of its skincare products that I have come across are antioxidant-rich and without the irritating alcohol or fragrant plant oils. In recent years, the brand has branched out into fragrance, haircare, and makeup. In 2011, I reviewed Sheer Skin Tint SPF15, which is one of the first products in the brand’s makeup range. Today I am reviewing Natural Finish Pressed Powder in 02 Sheer Ivory and Healthy Glow Powder Blushes in 02 Blossom and 06 Nectar.

Here is a look at some of the highlights of YSL‘s spring 2013 Arty Stone makeup collection. The two limited-edition star items of the collection are the Y Facet Couleur Palette (Pure Chromatics in 14) and the Y Facet Lumière Palette (both below).
I particularly like the mint-green Volupté Sheer Candy in 11 Frosted Mint. The two items in violet (Rouge Pur Couture Vernis in 30 Mauve Fusain and Long Lasting Eye Pencil N in 16 Ultra Violet) also caught my attention.

Here is a quick look at Dior‘s spring 2013 Chérie Bow makeup collection, which has been released in the UK. The collection features a wide range of fresh and feminine pink hues, from rose and fuchsia pinks to coral and peach pinks. The limited-edition star item of the collection is the Chérie Bow Palette, which is available in two variations (001 Pink Poudre (below) and 002 Pink Perle (above)). I prefer the look of 002 Pink Perle.

Givenchy‘s spring 2013 Hôtel Privé makeup collection, available in the UK from today, features mostly soft and demure hues for eyes, lips, and nails. Today I am highlighting the (only) lipstick in this collection, Rouge Interdit in 59 Private Peach.
