Hi Shanghainese Dumpling,

Dior has done makeup palettes in similar cases for the holiday season in the last few years but they were not always in red. The large palette does look good… :)

Thank you for stopping by again! :)

hmmm.. I don’t find this palette very attractive as I find them too similar to the diorissime and d’trick which I already own.. so i prob will just get the minaudiere

Got this today!! The makeup palette at Nordstrom’s today. LOVE the lip gloss. Apparently people have been wanting to buy it separately, but they only offer it with this holiday collection. The lip collection is very beautiful today but I figured I don’t need it. But I adore the pouch it comes in. It’s nylon, but still worth it for the cannage stitching. Thanks PJ! If I hadn’t seen it on here first, I wouldn’t have decided to buy it so quickly. =D

Hi Pye,

You are very welcome! :)

I saw the cannage palettes at my local Dior counter a few days ago. They do look very pretty and are quite collectible. I am glad you like yours!

I am waiting patiently for the Dior Minaudière palette…

Thank you for your comment again! :)

Just brought holiday makeup palette. Eyeshadows move around a bit (as if glue has not set). Could you please tell me if this is normal? Thanks Jo

Hi Jo,

I see what you mean. I think it might be normal since sometimes manufacturers use glue that doesn’t dry up. (It happens quite often with colors in palettes that can be detached and refilled.) However, if the colors actually fall off when the palette is upside-down, then you might consider returning it.

Hope it helps, and thank you for your question! :)
