Shiseido released a statement today regarding the recall of some of the batches of Integrate Killer Wink Gel Liner manufactured between February 2016 and October 2016. (Please see details below.)

According to the statement, some of the cases of Integrate Killer Wink Gel Liner (インテグレート キラーウインクジェルライナー/ 絕色魅癮 甜美色線濃密筆型眼線膠, pictured above) manufactured between February 2016 and October 2016 were damaged during the manufacturing process, and the damaged cases might cause harm to the eyelids during application.

The affected shades and batch codes are:

  • BK999 (batch codes 6049, 6125, 6176, 6218 & 6244)
  • BR610 (batch codes 6104, 6119, 6176, 6217 & 6299)

The products that have been re-inspected before dispatch have a dash after the batch code on the outer packaging and three dots on the bottom of the case, and Shiseido reassures that they are safe to use.

Shiseido is also offering an exchange via the company’s official website.

Shiseido released a statement on September 13th regarding the recall of all Integrate Killer Wink Gel Liners.

According to the statement, the company has noticed that, during the manufacturing process, small parts from some of the damaged cases of Integrate Killer Wink Gel Liner were mixed with the refills inside the cases. The company has decided to recall the product (in all shades and with all batch codes). The previous product exchange offer has ended, and the replacement products customers received from the company are also being recalled.

(In a press release issued by Shiseido, the company has confirmed that the product will no longer be produced or sold.)
