Addiction will release its fall 2019 makeup and fragrance collection in Japan on July 15th. The collection celebrates the brand’s 10th anniversary. (Take a look at my first post on the brand in 2009.)
The collection includes:
– Compact 10 Limited Edition The Compact Addiction (above & below, limited edition, ¥9000)

– Compact 10 Limited Edition Porcelain Addiction (limited edition, ¥9000)
– Compact 10 Limited Edition Neutral Addiction (limited edition, ¥9000)
– Compact 10 Limited Edition Beige Addiction (limited edition, ¥9000)
– Compact 10 Limited Edition Unisex Addiction (limited edition, ¥9000)
– Compact 10 Limited Edition Concealer Addiction (with blending space on the bottom right, limited edition, ¥9000)

Its notes include:
- Top notes: cassis, lemon, rhubarb
- Middle notes: geranium, juniper berry, incense, rose, black tea
- Base notes: cedarwood, dry wood, moss
Eau d’Addiction will be released in Japan on July 15th (exactly ten years after the launch of the brand), and all the other items listed above will be released in Japan on July 26th.

I read recently that this is probably Ayako’s last collection since she resigned from the brand back in March ☹️

Based on what I could understand from the information from Fashion Press, Ayako did retire as Addiction’s creative director in March and the upcoming holiday 2019 collection will be her last collection for the brand. It will certainly be very interesting to see whether there will be a noticeable change in the brand’s aesthetics after that.
