Released in 2000, Kenzo‘s Flower by Kenzo is one of the brand’s best-known fragrances. There are various versions of the scent, including Le Parfum (2003), Flower Oriental (2005), Edition d’Artistes (2006), Winter Flowers (2008), Essentielle (2009), and the various annual editions of Eau d’Été. For 2011, to celebrate the art of graffiti and tagging, Kenzo has released FlowerTAG.

I do like a bit of color for fall (among all the neutrals and other muted shades), and Sonia Rykiel’s fall 2011 Sensual makeup collection is giving me that. The new Eyeshadow Duos include soft hues, vibrant colors, and sedate shades. The new shades/variations of Mousse Eyeshadow and Cheek Color Powder also inject some fresh colors into fall.

Chanel‘s fall 2011 Illusions d’Ombres de Chanel makeup collection puts emphasis on the eyes and pairs intense but sophisticated shades for eyes with natural warm-toned shades for cheeks and lips. As SUQQU didn’t release a full color makeup collection for spring/summer 2011, I am sure many SUQQU fans were eagerly waiting for the brand’s fall 2011 makeup collection. The waiting is over, but are the new items worth the anticipation? Today I am reviewing Blend Color Eyeshadow in 08 Mizuaoi and Face Color Palette in EX-01.

Over the next few weeks, I will be featuring items from fall 2011 makeup collections from various brands. Today we start with Kanebo Coffret d’Or.
So far, I have been loyal to Coffret d’Or‘s eyeshadow palettes, as I have at least one from each series. The latest 3D Glossy Eyes is from the line’s late summer/ early fall 2011 makeup collection, and I decided to go for 04 Pink Violet.

Without a doubt, blue is one of the trend colors for fall 2011. Compared with gray from spring 2011, blue can often offer the same depth but with more vibrancy. This season, it is more about an intense smoky look with blue, but there are also softer alternatives.
A bright cobalt blue, NARS‘ Single Eyeshadow in Outremer (below) is one of the most striking blues of fall 2011. Its matte finish and high pigmentation level will surely please those who go for a bolder look.
