Today, my Stash Debut series, which highlights my first purchases from various brands/lines, focuses on Vecua Honey.
Launched in April 2011, Vecua Honey is a sister brand of the Japanese beauty brand Vecua. While Vecua (debuted in 2003) is a high-end brand sold in department stores and has a clean and sophisticated look (see my brand profile on Vecua), Vecua Honey’s image is more youthful, fun and whimsical. Vecua Honey’s products feature honey as well as other natural ingredients.

Addiction will celebrate its 5th anniversary by releasing a limited-edition Japan-themed makeup collection in Japan on July 11th. The key colors in this collection are red, white and black. They are the Japanese traditional colors as well as the brand’s signature colors.

For fall 2012, Kanebo Coffret d’Or released four limited-edition sets of Beauty Collection Total Designing Set. Each set included a variation of Beauty Face Shadow, which was first released as part of the line’s late summer/ early fall 2012 makeup collection. As I really liked 02 Cream Brown from the collection (it is still among my favorite neutral-toned eyeshadow palettes), I decided to go for Beauty Collection Total Designing Set in EX-2, featuring Beauty Face Shadow in 05 Lavender Purple.
