3rd: Addiction

I have been interested in Addiction since its launch in fall 2009, but, product-wise, the new Cheek Stick from the brand’s summer 2011 makeup collection has caught my eye the most. Designed mainly as blushers, the eight available shades can also be used as eyeshadows and lipsticks. (Some of them can also be used for highlighting and contouring.)

Dior will be releasing Palette Lady Dior as an ultra-exclusive item (as with the Tailleur Bar Palette and the Mitzah Palette Set). It is inspired by the new Tweed and Crocodile Lady Dior Bag, one of the latest editions of the iconic Lady Dior bag from Spring/Summer 2011.

Even though I adore the style of the Lady Dior bag, I am not overly keen on the tweed version or the palette itself. (I think I prefer my own Lady Dior from spring 2009.) But…who knows…maybe I will change my mind about the palette if I have a chance to see it in person……

6th: Sonia Rykiel

I like the eye-catching Multico Eyeshadow palettes from Sonia Rykiel’s summer 2011 makeup collection. They are not the tone-on-tone eyeshadow palettes that we see a lot of from Japanese lines, but the colors are very well-coordinated. They are colorful but relatively wearable. My favorite one is, of course, the one with purple, pink, and golden beige.

Here is a look at Dior‘s fall 2011 makeup collection. The limited-edition star item for fall 2011 is Dior Blue Tie, an eyeshadow and lip gloss palette available in two variations (001 Smoking Blue and 002 Smoking White). Each of the four eyeshadows in the palette will have a different finish (matte, satin, metallic, and sparkly).
The silver case with the cannage patterns looks gorgeous!

Unlike Dior’s spring 2011 makeup collection, in which many of the items are too grey-toned for me, Dior’s summer 2011 Electric Tropics makeup collection is a lot more wearable for me. 5-Colour Eyeshadow in 534 Rosy Nude, the lighter of the two new palettes, is particularly appealing to me.
