Japanese fashion magazine Éclat has posted images of the two star items from YSL‘s spring 2015 makeup collection.
The two limited-edition items, to be released in Japan on January 9th, 2015, are Lumière de Jour (face highlighter) and Ombres de Jour.

Among YSL‘s Wildly Gold holiday 2014 makeup collection, the limited-edition star item, Palette Wildly Gold, has caught my attention. Even though multi-purposed eye-lip-cheek/face makeup palettes from the brand are commonly available at airport duty-free shops, it was seven years ago when the last one for the holiday season was released.

For fall 2014, Paul & Joe released three limited-edition Eye Color Trios and three limited-edition Compacts (which work for both Eye Color Trios and Cheek Colors). I didn’t get any of the Eye Color Trios but I did go for two of the Compacts.

Emoda will release its Anniversary Collection in Japan on October 12th to celebrate the anniversary of the openings of its retail points at Seibu Shibuya in Tokyo and Hankyu Umeda in Osaka. The collection includes two new shades of Ripe Lips Rouge (in Ange and Love, limited editions, ¥2800 each).

Canmake is a popular Japanese drugstore beauty brand with reasonably priced products, and it was on my list of brands to purchase from for years. (A few years ago, I tried a couple of Canmake items that were kindly passed on to me from a friend.) Some time ago, I decided to get Cheek Gradation in 06 Candy Stripe. (Since then, I picked up a couple more products, which I will talk about later.)
