Over the next few weeks, I will be featuring items from fall 2011 makeup collections from various brands. Today we start with Kanebo Coffret d’Or.
So far, I have been loyal to Coffret d’Or‘s eyeshadow palettes, as I have at least one from each series. The latest 3D Glossy Eyes is from the line’s late summer/ early fall 2011 makeup collection, and I decided to go for 04 Pink Violet.

Last month, I reviewed DHC‘s Olive Virgin Oil, which is a good product for those with drier skin types. Today I will be focusing on two of the products in the Coenzyme Q10 range, Coenzyme Q10 Lotion and Coenzyme Q10 Milk.
Coenzyme Q10 Lotion is the toner of the Coenzyme Q10 range. It has a very fresh lightweight feel on the skin, and it doesn’t feel slippery or sticky. (It is not a rich toner that feels emollient on the skin.) It contains butylene glycol as a moisturizing ingredient and it contains willow bark extract as an anti-irritant.

SoOud is a niche perfume brand created by French perfumer Stéphane Humbert Lucas. The lineup currently features eight fragrances, and each of them comes in Eau Fine (eau de parfum) and Parfum Nektar (more concentrated than Eau Fine).
The brand is inspired by the mysterious beauty of the Middle East. Four of the eight scents (Asmar, Burqa, Fam, and Kanz) contain the note of oud (resin from Aquilaria trees), and the fragrance bottles resemble a niqab. Today I am featuring Ouris Eau Fine.

Without a doubt, blue is one of the trend colors for fall 2011. Compared with gray from spring 2011, blue can often offer the same depth but with more vibrancy. This season, it is more about an intense smoky look with blue, but there are also softer alternatives.
A bright cobalt blue, NARS‘ Single Eyeshadow in Outremer (below) is one of the most striking blues of fall 2011. Its matte finish and high pigmentation level will surely please those who go for a bolder look.
