Kanebo Lunasol has just released Lunasol Starter Kit 2012 in Japan on March 9th in collaboration with Japanese fashion lines GallardaGalante and Toff & Loadstone. The limited-edition kit (¥6825) features Lunasol’s legendary Skin Modeling Eyes in 01 Beige Beige.

The rest of the kit includes:

– Cream Cheeks in EX08 Soft Orange Coral
– Full Glamour Gloss in EX20 Soft Orange Coral
– original pouch (designed by GallardaGalante and Toff & Loadstone)

This is the second time Lunasol has teamed up with Toff & Loadstone. Lunasol Toff & Loadstone Collection Kit was released in June 2010.

The famous Skin Modeling Eyes in 01 Beige Beige (released in spring 2007) has also appeared in other limited-edition kits, including Lunasol 10th Anniversary Makeup Palette (February 2009), Skin Modeling Eyes Starter Kit (March 2010), and Skin Modeling Eyes Kit (March 2011). This is the third time Beige Beige has been featured in a limited-edition kit released in March.

I finally decided to go for Beige Beige and I will share my thoughts on it later on.

did you get beige beige or the kit? the kit looks amazing… wonder when it’ll be available online.

Hi Stephanie,

I got Beige Beige on its own last year. I think the kit is now available on (Do have a look at my FAQ page for more information on the site.)

Thank you very much for stopping by! :)

This kit is a great deal, but I don’t really need Beige Beige… Look forward to reading your review on it; maybe it will change my mind.

Hi Kuri,

I do admit that I decided to buy it thinking that I probably wouldn’t like it as much as some of my other neutral palettes. I actually haven’t tried it yet, but I will certainly share my full analysis with you later on! :)

Thank you for commenting again! :)

Hi pj,

Do you know if the blush is matte? I’m going to try to get the kit even if it has shimmer! So nice! Hope you are well.

Hi Chie,

I hope you are well too!

As the other Cream Cheeks shades have fine shimmer, I am fairly certain that this one does too. Let me know what you think if you decide to get this kit!

Thank you for stopping by again! :)

I have the cream cheeks, there is very fine shimmer but it doesn’t really show up once I blend it on the face.
