Among YSL‘s Wildly Gold holiday 2014 makeup collection, the limited-edition star item, Palette Wildly Gold, has caught my attention. Even though multi-purposed eye-lip-cheek/face makeup palettes from the brand are commonly available at airport duty-free shops, it was seven years ago when the last one for the holiday season was released.
For holiday 2007, YSL released Celebration Palette in White Gold. Also, in the few years prior to that, the brand regularly brought out similar palettes for the holiday season, including Gold Celebration Palette in Star Glow for 2006, which I still treasure immensely. (For holiday 2008, Makeup Palette Bow Collection was released, but it was only for eyes and lips.)
I personally prefer the look of the Celebration Palettes, despite the fingerprint galore on those highly shiny and reflective cases.
