3rd: Anna Sui

Anna Sui’s summer 2016 makeup collection features the limited-edition Lip Color Stain (above) and Face & Body Powder. I like the colorful tropical print on them, but the bottom halves of the cases seem uncharacteristically plain. The highlight of the collection for me is Limited Ring Rouge (below), which is a limited-edition re-release (with different shades) of one of Anna Sui’s classics.

2nd: AQ MW

I am not usually excited about non-powder eyeshadows or eyeshadow singles, but Eye Glow Gem from Cosme Decorte AQ MW’s summer 2016 makeup collection has been growing on me. With warm neutrals, a rose pink and a purple gray, the five-shade lineup looks very appealing to me.

1st: SUQQU

For me, the standout item from the global lineup (above) of SUQQU’s summer 2016 makeup collection is the limited-edition Eye & Cheek Color Compact in EX-01 Rikkakou, with cool-toned pinks for eyes and cheeks, but the star of the collection is certainly the UK-exclusive lineup (below). The two (limited-edition) variations of Blend Color Eyeshadow and the two (limited-edition) shades of Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist feature bright, saturated and summery colors, and the two eyeshadow palettes also feature both matte and shimmery finishes.
The UK-exclusive lineup looked beautiful in many of the photos I saw on-line prior to its release, and I wasn’t disappointed when I saw it in person. It is great to see the return of bright colors from SUQQU, and I hope we will see more of them in the future. (Read my post on Blend Color Eyeshadow in EX-30 Hekikai.)
