THREE‘s Glam Touch Lipstick (Sheer) and Glam Touch Lipstick (Color) were among the brand’s launch lineup back in 2009, and new shades of the two products were released later on. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on Glam Touch Lipstick (Sheer) in 27 Street Blossom.
THREE Glam Touch Lipstick (Sheer) in 27 Street Blossom (THREE グラム タッチ リップスティック (シアー) 27 Street Blossom/ THREE 魅光蜜口紅 (Sheer) 27 Street Blossom, ¥3200) was released as part of the brand’s spring 2012 makeup collection. It is a medium-to-cool rose with a medium color depth. It is lightly pigmented and imparts a glossy sheen on the lips with semi-sparse fine multi-hued shimmer. It glides very smoothly and feels hydrating on the lips. Its staying power is acceptable as a sheer lipstick.
Its elegant rose shade really appeals to me. Also, I like the glossy finish with subtle shimmer. Even though the shimmering particles are very fine, I can still see their various tones (mostly pink, yellow-gold, green and blue). Of course I particularly love the blue-toned shimmer!
Among the lipsticks I wrote about in the past year or so, it is the most similar to SUQQU’s Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist in 06 Harunadeshiko. In comparison, THREE’s Street Blossom is more cool-toned, sheerer and more shimmery. (SUQQU’s Harunadeshiko has no shimmer.)
Overall, it creates a natural, elegant and relatively subtle look. It is a very wearable everyday lipstick for me as its shade is close to my natural lip color. I reach for it when I want a translucent and minimal look for my lips.
(Glam Touch Lipstick (Sheer) and Glam Touch Lipstick (Color) have been discontinued but I thought I would still share my thoughts on my Glam Touch Lipstick (Sheer) purchase. The current lipstick range in THREE’s point makeup lineup is Velvet Lust Lipstick, which was launched in spring 2014.)
