Paul & Joe’s summer 2012 Midsummer Nights makeup collection features limited-edition minty-green packaging and some eye-catching items, but I prefer the light-blue packaging from the summer 2011 collection and I also prefer the blue lip gloss from summer 2011 (Lip Gloss B in 001 L’Horizon Bleu) to the green lip gloss this season (Lip Gloss G in 002 Fairie Kisses). I do love the floral print of Blotting Paper 2012, which I will highlight a little later.

Lunasol’s summer 2012 makeup collection is a continuation of soft colors from the line’s spring 2012 collection. Even the rich blues and golden bronzes often seen in Lunasol’s summer makeup collections are replaced by powder blue and cool beige. The powder blue in Petal Pure Eyes in EX02 Fresh Coral (below) is the only non-pink/peach/neutral eyeshadow shade from Lunasol so far this year.

Today my Stash Debut 2012 series continues with Muji Eye Color (4 Color Type) in Plum 01.

Apart from homeware, clothing, and food, the Japanese lifestyle brand Muji carries health and beauty products, which include skincare, bodycare, haircare, and makeup items. I have been using Muji’s Mild Oil Cleansing (note it is no longer available in the UK), and today I am sharing my thoughts on my first makeup purchase from Muji.

ZA Available in Japan from Fall 2012

Currently available at 6000 retail points in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and New Zealand, ZA is certainly one of the best-known Japanese drugstore beauty lines in Asia. However, since its launch in 1997, the Shiseido-owned line has not been available in Japan.

This is about to change in the coming fall. According to Nikkei, ZA will be launched in Japan in September 2012. It will be sold at 300 retail points in Japan in the first year. The launch lineup will feature skincare, base makeup, and point makeup items.
