Launched in 2000, Kao Est is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The brand will release its 15th anniversary makeup and skincare collection in Japan on September 5th. The collection includes:

Est was launched by Kao in 2000. Excluding brands from companies acquired by Kao Corporation (such as Kanebo Cosmetics Inc.), Est is currently Kao’s only department-store beauty brand in Japan. It was launched as a high-end range under Kao Sofina and it used to be sold at Sofina counters in department stores. (“Est” used to stand for “Essence of Sofina Technology”.) Since it became independent from Sofina a few years ago, it has been having its own department-store counters. (Sofina is now mainly available in drugstores and pharmacies in Japan.)

Today, my Stash Debut series continues with Primavista!
Primavista is a base make line from Kao Sofina. It was launched in fall 2008 to replace (my beloved) Raycious. I had a chance to try Powder Foundation Moist Touch and a kind friend shared a couple of other items with me as well, but Face Powder (Keep & Reset) was my first purchase from the line. (See here for information on and reviews of products from Primavista Ange, a sub-line of Primavista).

3rd: Visée

When it comes to eyeshadows, purples and warm neutrals are the two color groups I go for the most, so it is great to see that the eye color items in Visée’s holiday 2014 makeup collection feature nothing but my favorite colors. Some of the Matte Nails shades are looking appealing as well, particularly PU100, a light lilac, and PK802, a lilac-toned pink.
